In addition to all the fresh produce, you will find a variety of specialty foods, plants, handcrafted personal care products, art, jewelry and much more! Live music plays from 10am – 2pm under the sprawling oak tree in the center of the market. The designated food court area complete with tables and chairs provides a great place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal from one of our many artisan food vendors. Abby’s Fresh Herbs and Uncle Greg’s Boiled Peanuts
Greg and Maria Cusumano are husband and wife from Clermont who team up side by side every Saturday at the Winter Garden Farmers Market. Maria began Abby’s Fresh Herbs in March of 2012 because of her love of all things agricultural – specifically fresh herbs. She grows 90% of all her herbs organically and sells an extensive variety of both culinary and healing herbs. When you purchase Abby’s Fresh Herbs, Maria provides you with proper growing instructions and even a recipe! She always welcomes her customers to keep in contact with her if they need guidance or assistance in the process of caring for their fresh herbs.
Greg started Uncle Greg’s Boiled Peanuts in 2013 and delights his customers each week with five varieties of hot boiled peanuts: Cajun, Plain, Jack Daniels, Budweiser and Buffalo Wing. Beginning on Thursday nights, he soaks the peanuts overnight and begins cooking them bright and early Friday morning so they are hot, fresh and ready to serve on Saturday. Greg loves chatting and sharing stories from “Uncle Greg’s Travels” with his many customers and friends each week. You will never be a stranger when you step up to Uncle Greg’s Boiled Peanuts!
